“What a Beautiful Idea :). One would think of such ideas but never get down to doing it. I read your story on https://88heartsproject.com/about/ . Enlightening.

2 wonderful coincidences – My numerology adds up to 8-8 🙂 and I’m less than a month away from giving birth to my darling son and he is due 9th July. 9th. 9. Heart #54- 5+4 = 9!

I was given this heart ever so recently – 3.6.14, I’m parting with it tomorrow for a good reason – I’ve been in Innsbruck, Austria since my wedding registration anniversary, 17th February 2014, for a very peculiar and difficult reason. I was meant to go migrate to the UK from Malaysia (I am Malaysian, hubby is British), but due to new and unfair changes in immigration rules, we are now expected to live in a European Union country other than the UK for at least 3 months before we apply to the UK immigration for me to permanently enter the UK as a foreign spouse. My application for got rejected a couple of days ago, reducing me and hubby to tears, to make things worse, his Grandma recently became terminally ill and we were told she has only days left, and we want very badly to have our son in the UK, and for her to see him. So tomorrow morning, I set on a journey for 3 days via train Innsbruck – Zurich – Calais (France) to arrive at the UK border to plead our case with the UK Border Immigration Officer there, to allow me into the UK not as a visitor, but as a permanent resident with my British husband. My family and friends are very worried about this travelling I’m embarking on as I’m approaching full term and technically can go into labour anytime from now. So I’m taking a risk. Half of this journey i’ll be alone as hubby is working in Germany currently and will meet me in Zurich.

While in Innsbruck – almost 4 months now, my hubby’s cousin, Natascha, was kind and gracious to let us stay with her and her boyfriend for a very minimal rent. We shared apartment expenses etc but I am ever so grateful to them for allowing us into their home and letting us live with them in a one floor apartment for almost 4 months now. Not many people will be comfortable to give up their privacy and do that. Natascha has taken care of me during these pregnant times so well, she is full of LOVE :).

You see where this is heading. We have had our misunderstandings re: household chores etc but these kinda things are only inevitable when you sharing a living space, but i have no grudges and we have all mutually put it behind us and only have more love in our hearts now. There’s really nothing I can buy for her to thank her for her MANY lovely gestures throughout my stay here. She helped me buy my entire hospital bag of my needs and newborn baby’s needs herself 2 days ago because I was too weak from the bad news of the rejection of our Family permit to accompany her to the mall. Today as a farewell gift she bought me a beautiful toiletry L’occitaine Set – which she noticed before that I LOVE! I haven’t bought her anything yet, I’m planning to make her a Thank you card, and buy her a proper rice cooker, but I think this Heart is the best gesture of Love & Gratitude I can give her, before I embark on this journey.

I don’t know what will happen at the border, they can be really mean and reject me again, but i choose to think positive, hold this heart in my hand for the last time and pray that it will bring me luck, that there will be love in the hearts of the immigration officers, and pass this heart to Natascha tomorrow morning, to pass on the LOVE to this kind soul who has shown me so much compassion and thoughtfulness the last 4 months. So the heart will go to her :), before I embark on this journey 🙂 I honestly thought I would be holding on to it much, much longer but it feels so right passing it to her, especially after reading the essence behind its intention on your website.

Much Love from me, thank you for injecting so much Love into this Universe that needs it so badly, and thank you for your beautiful HEART, pun intended :).”

  1. Yay! This is my heart! It came to me 2 days after I began my new adventure, living in Europe. It is currently reminding me of all of the love I have in my life, even if I am far from my friends and family at the moment, I can still feel their love.
It is also to remind me that following my heart into new adventures, while it is scary and exciting all in one, is to live ❤

  2. This heart has stayed with me for my entire time in Innsbruck. Now on my last days here I have passed it on to a fellow long term traveler who is expecting in the next month – to give her some extra love and support as she goes through this away from her home and family.
    LOVE
